There’s some lovely stuff coming, but this caught our eye immediately: a collaboration with one of the beauty world’s most heart-warming charities, which we have ourselves supported for several decades 🫶 Look Good Feel Better works with the beauty industry to offer makeovers and other kinds of support to women affected by cancer. We’ve seen it in action: patients at various stages of treatment, self-confidence eroded, walking through the doors… and walking out again, heads held high, feeling so much better about the world, life, themselves. £1 from the sale of each Vibrant Peony fragrance will go to Look Good Feel Better (and they aim to raise at least £20,000) 🎀 💖 The fragrance itself? Jo was reminded of how important the setting itself is on a recent visit to Deal, where she enjoyed – properly enjoyed – a relexology treatment in the beautiful setting of @thepelicanrooms overlooking Deal’s beach. But now we’ve discovered Navy nail care, we promise all that is going to change…’ As beauty resolutions go, doing more for your nails is a very positive one – not least in dividends swiftly paid, for the amount of effort invested. Cuticles soften swiftly, and don’t any longer snag. Hands look instantly more groomed. We first expected little immediate impact on sleep – because during its launch, This Works CEO Dr. Anna Persaud told us that it would take a wee while of using, to take effect – we duly spritzed at 6 p.m., ‘to start the evening wind-down process’… and slept like a log. Second night: same. And so it has gone on, resulting in easier falling asleep, and fewer night-time expeditions for a wee. That is some achievement. At first, we thought it might be coincidence, but it’s been about six weeks, now, and the benefits are crystal clear. This Works Own Time has been formulated in a really interesting, almost back-to-front way.
