If you’re fond of a smokey eye, you need to know about these. Now, we love what we call a ‘smoosh, smoosh, GO!’ type of eyeshadow, but if you like a smokey eye, these couldn’t make it easier to achieve.

L'Oréal Paris Le Shadow Stick Les Smokeys Eyeshadow are stubby, twist-up crayons that glide onto skin delivering rich, dense pigments that you can either blend with a synthetic brush, or… a finger, frankly.

The look absolutely doesn’t have to be as dramatically rock-chick and smouldering as our model, above – you can use them to get definition quickly, for an out-of-the-door eye look in no time at all, or to add a smokey eyeline to a powder shadow base. (The textures don’t clash, and the crayon sets, rather than goes all ‘panda eyes’ on you, becoming completely smudge-proof.)
