You may have noticed that we have a new book out – we’re very proud of it, and we have been shouting from the rooftops about The Beauty Bible Iconic Edition, our first book with Pavilion (part of HarperCollins), and the upsum of everything we’ve learned in three decades of trialling products and interviewing the world’s leading make-up artists, hairdressers, facialists, bodyworkers and health experts.

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat (£22) – ‘Creamy, colour-rich and long-lasting as well as moisturising – this really is a multi-tasker’

Innersense Serenity Smoothing Hair Cream (£26 for 177ml) – ‘Really liked this luxurious blow-dry cream, which made my hair look thicker and smoother, with a salon finish, as if I had been to the hairdresser.’

INIKA Radiant Glow Illuminate + Prime (£49 for 30ml) – ‘An elegant little bottle that seems to stop my make-up disappearing into my skin. I loved using this.’

Gatineau Golden Glow Gradual Tan (£55 for 400ml) – ‘Loved this – no awful fake tan smell. My skin looked healthy and slightly bronzed. Skin felt soft, as if it was doing good, too.’

Erborian CC Dull Correct (£38.50 for 45ml) – ‘I could fill the page with the compliments I’ve had. The first day I wore it, I went to the hairdresser and she asked had I been away, what was I using on my skin – and said she had never seen me look so good. Another friend said my skin looked “incredible”.’

Kiehl’s Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate (£100 for 100ml) – ‘Completely brightened skin, making it look more radiant without make-up. Also an improvement in fine lines, brown spots and a slight reduction in crêpiness. Skin is smoother, plumper and softer.’
