Fab Find of the Week: Meadowfarm x Olfactive O New Earth (in support of Beauty Banks)
We can’t think of a nicer, more heart-warming or gorgeous candle collaboration than this. But with just 400 of the Meadowfarm x Olfactive O candle – a limited edition created to support the fantastic Beauty Banks – what we can say is: do not dither, dear reader.

So, Meadow Farm – who we’ve written about here and here – and Olfactive O have pooled their love of scent, plants and making beautiful things by hand to create a limited-edition New Earth candle. Based around the fragrance launched by founder Olivia da Costa earlier this year (which Jo reviewed in her Scent Notes, here), the candle seeks to recreate the wonderfully grounding feeling of stepping outside, taking a proper breath and remembering there’s a world beyond your inbox. (We occasionally need reminding.)
New Earth grew out of Olivia’s desire to feel more connected to the natural world. Its olfactory landscape takes in leaves, stems, aromatic herbs, warm earth and alpine air, and that grounding and outdoorsy idea has now been translated into one of Meadow Farm’s hand-crafted candles, in one of their beautiful, signature glass vessels.
But as we say, there’s another very good reason to find room for this on your mantelpiece. The entire £15 profit from each (NB very reasonably priced) £35 candle will go to Beauty Banks, the charity working to tackle hygiene poverty across the UK.
Sshampoo, toothpaste, deodorant and period products shouldn’t be optional extras. Access to them can make a profound difference to someone’s confidence, dignity and ability to face school, work or simply the day ahead. Beauty Banks gets those essentials to people who need them through a nationwide network of charity partners, and it is brilliant, brilliant work.
Just 300 candles are being made. If every one sells, that’s £4,500 for Beauty Banks.
