Beauty Bible Weekend Steal: Salt of the Earth Spiced Gingerbread Deodorants

Er… We weren’t expecting our underarms to join in with the seasonal baking mood, but here we are. Salt of the Earth Spiced Gingerbread Deodorants are a rather cute way to bring a little cheer to an everyday essential – and at £7.49 each, they’re deffo kinder to the purse than most seasonal scent splurges.

Choose between the Refillable Roll-On (always love a refill) and Natural Deodorant Spray: both deliver the same rather cosy fragrance, with its blend of ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg. Definitely NOT the usual sporty freshness of the deodorant aisle – and more grown-up smelling than you might imagine.

They’re effective, with it: ingredients include potassium alum (the mineral salt used in both formats to help inhibit the growth of odour-causing bacteria), aloe vera to soothe and hydrate under-arm skin, and something called triethyl citrate, which supports the deodorising formula by helping inhibit the bacterial breakdown of sweat into pongy compounds.
