JASON Naturals Pink Himalayan Salt 2-in-1 Bath Soak & Body Wash

If you’re looking for a treat that’s also an absolute steal, here goes.

This whacking great pump of dual-purpose bath soak and body wash is probably going to last into the next millennium, we reckon – despite generous use. It’s vast, at 887ml (that’s getting on for a litre, of course).

Pumped into the tub, it’s lightly foaming and really rather wonderfully relaxing. (Just enough bubbles to keep small people entertained, too, we reckon, if you swish well.)

However, we like it applied via a sponge or flannel, for gently cleaning away grub. (Mostly feet and hands from gardening, in our cases.) Sulphate-free, it’s not irritating and in fact, we find that it isn’t drying at all, perhaps down to the humectant (moisture-attracting) glycerine, in the formula.

And weirdly, it does indeed smell… salty! Heaven knows how, since salt, technically, doesn’t have a smell – but this does. (According to Jason, it features lavender, bergamot and clary sage – but it still smells salty, to us.)

And the price? Definitely a tonic, compared to many bath treats.
