LUSH holds out a hand of friendship with a fund-raising bath bomb

We love it when LUSH take a stand. They’re completely unafraid of embracing controversial issues that other beauty brands frankly wouldn’t touch with a bargepole, and we really applaud this new campaign.

Above is a limited edition bath bomb, created – as Lush put it – to help create a world ‘where everyone is free to move and no one is forced to move.’ Thus, 75% of the sales price (less the tax) of this zesty fizzing bath treat will be donated to Migrant Rights Network, ‘a UK-based campaigning charity that stands in solidarity with migrants in their fight for rights and justice.’

MRN believes,’ explains Lush, ‘that everyone has the right to a dignified life in a society free from all forms of oppression and discrimination.’

The campaign is showcased in windows across all 101 of Lush’s stores, as part of their Hand of Friendship fundraiser – and you can also find a booklet which shares more info about the issue.

So, we say – yet again – hurrah for Lush, and their efforts to create a kinder world. It’s definitely the one we want to live in.
