Beauty Bible Loves... Perfumer H Rain Wood bodycare

We’ve previously written about perfumer Lyn Harris’s Mayfair store Perfumer H, which is on Clifford Street – tucked away off Bond Street, near Dior – but with its cool dark, painted interior and natural wood surfaces, it feels particularly like balm for the soul, in a bonkers world.
As is this new bodycare collection.
Perfumer H don’t often go in for body products to ‘match’ their fragrances, so this is rather special. (Also: at a rather ‘special’ price, albeit for very generous sizes, rather than something for an everyday purchase.) But it has what we think is an almost universal appeal, balancing as it does an airy floralcy notes with something altogether more intriguing. It has Lyn’s signature – transparent, yet deceptively tenacious – and would happily complement pretty much any other fragrance in the collection, we reckon. In her own description, Lyn mentions ylang ylang, orange flower, iris absolute, vetiver, Bourbon vanilla, amber and white musks, but truly, the impression is steamy, sultry and cloud-like.
