Beauty Bible Gift Guide 2025: Stocking fillers
Something rather marvellous has occurred in the beauty gift market, for Christmas 2025 – because there are some truly fab gifts at truly affordable prices. (We’re not sure who casually drops £100 a beauty gift for each of their chums, but we certainly don’t!)

e.l.f.’s make-up is fantastic value, regularly chosen by us as a ‘Weekend Steal’ – but this is a great starter palette of 10 brilliant, smooth neutrals (some with shimmer and gleam, some matte), which would flatter anyone from your 14-year-old, make-up experimenting niece through to a glamorous elderly neighbour.

Yardley English Lavender Body Wash & Body Lotion Set
This fragrance is a crowd-pleaser, not least for its soothing lavender vibe, but so widely loved – the perfect gift for someone when you don’t know what scent they like to wear, with its aromatic notes of clary age, English lavender, geranium and more. In the kit, find generous full (250ml) sizes of Body Wash and Body Lotion, for silky skin and soothed senses.

Dr.PAWPAW & The Grinch Candy Cane Lip Scrub & Ultimate Red Balm Duo
Dr.PAWPAW are just so, so clever with their collaborations – here, with The Grinch, who’s going to steal [our hearts this] Christmas with this sugar-based, mintily zingy Candy Cane Lip Scrub and a swivel-up version of their ultra-nourishing Tinted Ultimate Red Lip Balm, which swipes on to deliver instant, botanically-powered comfort and a sheer red sheen. This has long been a go-to brand for us, for their affordable lip care; this is definitely going on our own ‘Dear Santa’ list.

This lemon shaped, high-quality soap is the greatest of small pleasures, we feel – the true icon in the Bronnley range, which now sits under the umbrella of Heathcote & Ivory. What we love is that it can be used to scent woollens or undies in a drawer before use – if you can keep yourself from using it straight away, that is.

No7 Pro Artist Lip & Cheek Glow
This incredibly good value set from good old No7 features a pair of products in what are literally suits-all-skintones shades: smooth, beautiful-to-blend No7 Pro Artist Luxe Liquid Blusher (in Taupe Blush) and No7 Pro Artist Luminous Glow Lip Shine (Rose Couture). If this doesn’t push your buttons, there are literally dozens of great kits from No7, who we think have really gotten exciting again lately, and are doing great stuff.

The entire M&S Apothecary range is astonishingly well-priced, and we reckon there isn’t a human alive right now who couldn’t do with a little more calm in their lives. So, this Mini Scenting Kit features a mini 30ml Diffuser and a votive candle, with its press-the-pause-button scent of clary sage, cedarwood, sweet orange and lavender. If you’re in an M&S store, do check out the Apothecary range – so well-designed, with fragrances that are all exceptionally well-composed, for the price.

Aromatherapy Associates Forest Therapy Hero
Honestly the next-best-thing to a walk in the woods, a bath oil – from an all-time fave brand of ours – which delivers the same grounding, calming, soul-refreshing effect through its blend of cypress, Ho Wood, juniper berry, eucalyptus and pink pepper. They’ll get three baths out of this little chap – or alternatively, massage it into their torso before stepping into the shower, three times over.

Is there a greater gift than the gift of a good night’s sleep? If there is, we’d like to know about it. This bauble-shaped box contains a trio of 5ml sizes of This Works’s classic sleep-beckoning wonder-workers: Stress Check Roll-On, Sleep Plus + Pillow Spray and Deep Sleep Pillow Spray.
