Fab Find of the Week: Guerlain Terracotta Le Teint

We tend to feel like Goldilocks, when trying out summer foundations. This one’s too heavy. This one’s too light. That one looks flat in the sunshine. That other one just melts into the ether…

But this new one from Guerlain? Just perfect. Not too heavy, not too light, not too shiny, not too matte. And the best news of all? It’s their most inclusive foundation launch ever, covering literally every skintone.

We’ve been fans of Guerlain’s Terracotta line since they very first launched bronzers – and yes, we honestly DO go back to 1984 and that first launch! – but this is the first foundation. Impressively, this weightless-textured base is made with 95% naturally-derived ingredients – a direction Guerlain has been moving in, for a while – and leaves skin looking seamless, radiant but not super-shiny.

And we all lived happily ever after, with this in our summer make-up kit…
