Fab Find of the Week: SUQQU Cream Tint & Creamy Cover Concealer
From the make-up brand which brought you one of our favourite foundations – serum-based SUQQU The Liquid Foundation (which also happens to be a Beauty Bible Award-winner) – come two fab new complexion coverage innovations. And we’re hard pressed to tell you which we prefer.
What we will say is… we don’t often wear foundation any longer. Skin tints – and SUQQU Cream Tint (below) is a stellar example – offer an airier formulation, but still with great coverage. In this case, we’re looking at what they call a ‘skincare-forward foundation, with a new, moisture-nurturing formula’. It’s more than a tinted moisturiser, lighter than a foundation, covering without being heavy, while leaving skin glowy and really, seriously comfortable, with the bonus of an SPF50 (but we always say you shouldn’t rely on that for total coverage, because you wouldn’t apply this all over. It’s like a bonus.)
You’ll find SUQQU Cream Tint in what might seem a narrow range of just six shades, BUT they’re incredibly forgiving and each works on a wide range of skintones.
If anything, we like SUQQU Creamy Cover Concealer even better. (There’s also a wider range of shades, see top.) This really IS creamy. It really DOES cover; dark circles don’t stand a chance (don’t forget those little blue areas on the nose-bone), and we’ve also trialled it on lids, as an eyeshadow base. To our surprise, despite the creamy nature, it doesn’t lead to creasing, but beautifully evens out lids as it does those circles.
As big forever-fans of SUQQU, we always have high expectations. But we’re like the cats that got the creamy textures, here.
