Beauty Bible Weekend Steal: PixiPerfumes

When Pixi unveiled this trio at a breakfast earlier this week, there was a collective gasp – when our hosts shared the price. Each individual fragrance – and we’ll come on to those – is £15 each, but the set is just £30 for THREE x 15ml, handbag-friendly atomisers. (Twist the green container and the spray appears…)

They have ‘revisited’ some earlier PIXI fragrances (TBH we don’t even remember those!), and just so, so beautifully. There are three…

PixiMimosa – incredibly soft and feminine, a cloud of violet, mimosa, with just a touch of green notes. Smells like something that’s 10 times more expensive (at least!)

PixiRose – one for the rose-lovers, fresh-floral with a whisper of lemon brightening rose, lily and jasmine. Pretty, yet intriguing.

PixiFig – our favourite, which is a surprise since fig doesn’t generally push our buttons, but the earthy greenness of fig leaves is softened by iris and lifted by bergamot. Divine!

The name of the nose who created these wasn’t shared at the launch breakfast… but if you happened to tell us that these were created by Lyn Harris (of Perfumer H), we absolutely wouldn’t have been surprised. (Now, we might be wide of the mark there, but they certainly have the airy yet compelling presence that we love Lyn for.)

Whatever: these hot-off-the-press scents are a total bargain and so worthy of being Beauty Bible’s fabulous, fragrant Weekend Steal.
