Fab Find of the Week: Space NK Paros Tides bodycare
If this doesn’t have you dreaming of clear blue skies, crystalline sea and summer, nothing will.
We love fragrance’s power to catapult us through time and space – especially on dark days. (Although happily the sky looks pretty ‘Greek Island’s to us, this morning.) And this new collection from Space NK, which we’ve been wallowing in – literally – captures sunshine and sea breeziness in its really refreshing scent.
Fig, aquatic notes and elderflower make up the scented vibe that drifts through an extensive, not-ridiculously-pricy range of Paros Tides body treats. You can literally bathe in it top to toe (well, neck to toe – there isn’t a haircare line, yet). Waft along to Space NK to wallow in it yourself (with 48 stores nationwide, that’s pretty much possible for everyone who doesn’t live in the highlands and islands). But meanwhile? Our three faves are as follows. (NB Travel sizes are available in several of the products – a great intro size, or ideal if you’re actually jetting off).
Space NK Paros Tides Bath Salts – we love a bath salt at the best of times – and this definitely makes for the best of times: crunchy salt which infuses the water with a scent that has us imagining floating on our backs, staring up at a cloudless sky (rather than the gosh-does-that-need-repainting? ceiling).
Space NK Paros Tides Body Oil – pat skin dry, then seal in the moisture with this gorgeous, slightly fresh-green-scented oil, which nurtures with oils of pomegranate and grapeseed, as well as squalane. (This smells slightly more ‘fig leaf’ than other products in the line, to us.)
Paros Tides Hand Cream/£5 for 30ml – gosh, this almost qualifies as a beauty steal – it’s a fiver! Totally handbag-friendly (we’re thinking raffia, here), with a softening but not sticky texture (plenty of shea butter and glycerine). The perfect ‘starter treat’ to introduce yourself to what is a completely delightful bodycare collection.
There’s plenty more deliciousness to explore in the collection, for hands and bodies – and meanwhile, the gorgeous sea blue of its livery has us dreaming not only of Greek holidays, but possibly an entire bathroom redesign...
