Fab Find of the Week: Wildsmith Treatment Mists (and free Treescape soundscape!)
‘Tis fair to say we’re generally not that bothered about using a facial mist. Bit of a faff.
But never let it be said that we don’t have an open mind, at Beauty Bible – and these have fair converted us. Not only do Wildsmith Skin Treatment Mists deliver an instant hydrating skin quench (and are fine to spritz over make-up), but they smell a-m-a-z-i-n-g.
First up is Super Moisturising Treatment Mist – the one for when skin’s looking a bit dry and papery. Wonderfully rose-scented – from blooms grown biodynamically on Wildsmith’s ‘home farm’, on the Heckfield Estate in Hampshire, it’s blended with soothing calendula, humectant hyaluronic acid and betaine, which helps manage skin’s water balance. Skin remains more dewy-looking and feeling, once the mist’s sunk in.
The second spritz we’ve been keeping on the desk, for a little refreshment of both skin and energy levels, around 4 p.m. Super Energising Treatment Mist again features calendula and hyaluronic acid, with antioxidant English daisy and lemon balm, to brighten. Alongside the heavenly scent of the lemon balm is bergamot, a great awakener and rebalancer.
They can also, of course, be spritzed onto the face after removing cleanser, and either left to sink in or swiped off with a cotton pad – or simply sprayed onto aforementioned pad, and swiped over the face.
