Beauty Bible Weekend Steal: Revolution Wrap Lash (in Burgundy)

We’re not surprised by the current buzz around burgundy mascaras. It was make-up pro Terry de Gunzburg who first demo-ed to us how flattering this shade can be, decades ago, in her Paris atelier – and Jo’s been a fan, ever since.

This great example, Revolution Wrap Lash, comes in at well under a tenner, though – just one reason to love it. Then there’s the grippy silicone wand, brilliant for lash extending – and the formula, which is a ‘tube’ formula. We’ve become increasingly keen on these, as they don’t need a separate make-up remover but can be removed with a wet, warm-to-hot washcloth at the end of the day. Those little tubes just slide right off.

Having seen so many make-up trends come and go, we’ve a hunch burgundy mascara will have its fashion moment and then be forgotten. But for us? It’s a classic.
