Fab Find of the Week: Urban Decay Naked Original Eyeshadow Palette - Limited Edition

It’s back. But be quick! Because Urban Decay are telling us that this will be absolutely the final time that this invaluable, truly iconic palette will be on sale.

Allegedly, 30 million of the original Urban Decay Naked Original Eyeshadow Palette have been sold – and we’re not really surprised. This is your capsule collection of totally wearable matte and shimmer shades, for every eye effect imaginable. It spans the whole spectrum of colours that we’d use ourselves, from Virgin – a great bone shade, for the brow-bone – through to a smouldering deep navy and grey (the slightly weirdly-named Creep, and Gunmetal), via lots of brilliant neutrals.

Nothing too ‘scare the horses’, then, and all of it beautifully blendable, yet with a good colour pay-off. Unlike many palettes, the synthetic bristles slipped inside earn their keep, smoothing and buffing to the most seamless finish.

For this limited edition relaunch, the palette has been dressed up to offer a suede-y/velvety feeling finish, with the NAKED logo emblazoned in gold.

The Little Black Dress of make-up palettes, we figure.
