Fab Find of the Week: Liz Earle Environmental Defence Cream Mineral SPF25

The wind may be blowing in from the West, but that doesnโ€™t take away from the fact that we need a good daily sunscreen, from here on in. And here is a rather good NEW daily sunscreen, from the brand originally founded by Liz Earle.

As someone who reacts to chemical sunscreens, this has been Joโ€™s go-to in the month or so since it launched, based around zinc and titanium dioxide, to guard against both UVA and UVB rays. And unlike many daily sunscreens, meanwhile, itโ€™s nicely moisturising โ€“ which sounds a bit โ€˜duhโ€™, for a facial moisturiser, but itโ€™s not always the case. Lingonberry and blueberry seed oils and shea butter feature, making this skin-quenching, yet after a few minutes creates a great base for make-up. (Something we hope to be using less and less of, in months to come).

Thereโ€™s a tint in there, too โ€“ a slightly radiant, light-reflective bronze tone, which adds just a whisper of healthy colour and is โ€˜adaptiveโ€™, so it will work on any skintone.

Though we still find it rather frustrating to require sunscreen AND thermals, at the moโ€ฆ
