‘I Am Me’: Bobbi Brown's new YouTube series kicks off with some great guests...

We go all the way back to Bobbi Brown’s UK launch with this genius make-up artist and general all-round fabulous person. (Jo wrote the very first article about Bobbi in the UK, in YOU Magazine, with the consequence that Harrods’s switchboard broke under the volume of calls from readers keen to get their hands on her make-up…)

Since then, she’s continued to inspire us – and Bobbi’s whole approach to beauty chimes with our own, which is that it’s inclusive and embracing and about every woman feel that little bit more confident, so she can get on with the important stuff. (Our words. But we think Bobbi would agree.)

Obviously, she moved on from her brand some time after selling it to the Estée Lauder Companies, then rolled her sleeves up and started all over again with Jones Road: fabulous, goof-proof products that just fit so well with modern life. (The Liberty department store counter for the brand is never not crowded.)

And, we’ve added this new series (initially, 10 episodes) to our ‘must-watch’ list. Having worked with so many brilliant and dynamic women over the years, Bobbi has now invited them to share their philosophy – about beauty and about life – via a new YouTube series, ‘I Am Me. The very first interview was with the feminist icon Gloria Steinem (to whom women owe so much), followed by Brooke Shields.

New episodes drop weekly, and look at each individual’s journey to self-confidence – ‘the hardships and successes that every woman experiences in different facets of their lives – beauty, career, finances, family and health.’ As she explains it, through these candid conversations, Bobbi creates a safe space to talk about topics like unrealistic beauty standards, money, and power.

A new episode drops here each week. We think you’ll love it.

And Bobbi, we love you more than ever!
