Beauty Bible Weekend Steal: Feather & Down Magnesium & Passionflower range

Magnesium has long been our go-to for tired muscles and help with sleep. Absorbed through the skin, it relaxes and calms – which is why the folks at British self-care brand Feather & Down have formulated it into a brand new, just-landed-at-Boots (and truly lovely) range. To complement the magnesium, they’ve added Passiflora, or passionflower, and together, these two ingredients support the body’s natural circadian rhythms, for better-quality zzzzs.

Some days, meanwhile, our job is even more fun than others – and we first got our hands on this collection in the back of a special, flower-bedecked cab, on Wednesday. (Quite how the driver didn’t fall asleep at the wheel, breathing this scent all day, is a mystery.)

Brilliantly affordable, the range – which has the same signature smell that Feather & Down fans know and love – offers some really innovative textures and delivery systems. 94% of testers who trialled the products found the scent calming, while 90% felt more relaxed – so waft off with these, which all happen to be at even-more-affordable, discounted launch price at Boots, right now.

Magnesium & Passionflower Dreamy Sleep Cloud Body Butter. A couple of the products have the word ‘cloud’ in the name, and it just so apt. Here, a soft, bouncy, sinks-in-fast butter that is infused, like the rest of the range, with the passionflower and magnesium, and the familiar cocooning blend of essential oils.

Magnesium & Passionflower Dream Mist for Body & Feet. Do you realise quite how absorbent the soles of the feet are? That’s why Feather & Down prescribe this not just as a body spray, but as a foot spray. Spritzing soles makes for even swifter soothing effects.

Magnesium & Passionflower Dreamy Shower Foam Cloud. That word ‘cloud’, again, but this is almost uncanny – truly a fragrant cloud which billows out of the can, delivering a velvety lather that leaves skin soft (and senses calmed). There’s also a Feather & Down Magnesium & Passionflower Serenity Boosting Shower Wash in the range; haven’t got round to trying it, yet.)

Magnesium & Passionflower Dreamy Escape Stress Relief Rollerball. First time we’ve seen quite this format: an easy-squeezy tube that dispenses its fragrant, 10% magnesium-charged cargo via a pulse-point roller. A bedside must, moving forward.
