Beauty Bible Loves... Subtle Energies Rasayana Body Mist
Don’t know about you, but we feel we need a LOT of grounding at the moment. The world’s on a rollercoaster, and sometimes we just feel we’re on that rollercoaster with it, daring only to peep out sometimes from between our fingers, torn between pretending everything’s fine, tra-la-la!, and obsessively doomscrolling.
Well, that’s where we think this spray comes in, from Subtle Energies, a fab Ayurvedic brand that we’ve raved about before. Subtle Energies Rasayana Body Mist is unbelievably, amazingly, utterly grounding. Spray it, and your shoulders drop. You breathe differently. And you feel tethered to the earth again.
We’d go so far as to say it’s a bit like a yoga class, in a spray. OK, not the stretchy bit, but the meditative, rebalancng bit. That’s down to a combination of adaptogenic herbs and oils of Indian lime, wild turmeric and tulsi, all of which instantly transport us to India. Or a very posh Ayurvedic spa.
And – kept within reach on the desk – it doesn’t just ground, but seems to have a reviving effect, helping us power towards deadlines, too. (That’s probably down to the balancing action of the adaptogenic herbs.) But whether you want to calm, or refresh, or revive, or to feel as if you’re attached to Mother Earth rather than hurtling along on that rollercoaster, it’s pretty impressive – and a new go-to, for modern living.
