These may LOOK like the old-school swivel-up concealers of yore (you know, the type you used to buy as a teenager, at Woollies!) But they’re actually state-of-the-art.
From MILK Makeup – whose funkier launches, we think, sometimes distract from the rock solid quality of the products, and the fact they work across every age group – these have SO much going for them.
Let’s start with the fact MILK Makeup Hydro Grip Gel Concealer is incredibly easy to use (swivel, apply, tap in – or use a brush to blend, if you prefer). Then move on to the shade range, which you can see below – very inclusive, as you’ll see. Next, the texture: these blend in almost like a serum (they’re clearly not – strictly, a gel-to-cream – but the texture is serum-smooth). And last but not least – the clue is in the name! – THEY GRIP! And they really do go the distance.
Great for under-eyes, those little grey shadows just by your tear duct – and we’re getting great results on the furrow line between our brows, of the kind we normally only get from a light-reflective concealer. They are also dense enough to cover pigmentation, without looking like a mask – and somehow, MILK’s latest offering also does a great job of minimising, if not entirely erasing, those brown patches.
