Beauty Bible Loves... Margaret Dabbs London Concealing & Firming Leg Serum

The weather has been a bit tights-on/central-heating-on, tights-off-throw-open-the-windows, lately. But we have appreciated having this newly reformulated leg perfector from the marvellous Margaret Dabbs on hand, for those blissful tights-off opportunities – and this long weekend’s forecast looks like it’s going to offer plenty of those.

Moisturising but not sticky, with a light veil of cover, it’s the visual equivalent of putting on sheer stockings, while still enjoying the heavenly feeling of bare legs. Utterly goof-proof to apply – and bear in mind this is a skin tint, not a self-tanner, so it washes right off when you shower or bathe.

Margaret Dabbs London Concealing & Firming Leg Serum is an upgrade to a previous Margaret Dabbs London bestseller, and we’re loving it. It’s basically a ‘CC leg serum’, concealing imperfections but also cooling and toning; the minty scent is very much a wake-up call for tired legs, with ingredients to target puffiness, and it even promises to soothe restless legs and cramping – though we can’t comment on that, since we don’t suffer.

You can build the airbrush-finish product for extra coverage, but we find that one coat is instantly transforming. It goes a surprisingly long way, too – so while it’s definitely not cheap, you’ll get a lot of instant makeovers out of the 200ml tube.

It happens to be a bare leg day today – and hey, presto! Ours look fab. Thanks, Margaret…
