Jurlique Rose Silk Finishing Powder
The divine Ruby Hammer turned us onto this whisper-light, airy face powder at the recent launch for Jurlique Rose Facial Oil (read our Fab Find of the Week review, here) – and we always trust Ruby’s recommendations 100%.
Sure enough, it lives up to Ruby’s rave review, perfect for dialling down the shine – but also delivering a wonderful, sensual experience.
How can a face powder do that? It’s the rosiness. A bit like swooshing your face with Turkish delight (only not sticky, obviously). Talc-free, translucent Jurlique Rose Silk Finishing Powder is based on corn and rice starch, with natural silica to scatter the light, blur lines and deliver radiance, rather than glow. Herbal extracts of sage and rosemary also feature, to tackle oiliness. We apply it with a fluffy brush, but the little velvet puff also works well.
Ruby tells us that she loves to use it on her A-list clients as a final flourish, because they just love, love, love the scent, too.
