Beauty Bible Loves... e.l.f. Suntouchable! Whoa Glow SPF30 Sunscreen

This pitches itself as a sunscreen. An SPF30 sunscreen, so a very decent level of protection. And a primer.

But in reality, e.l.f. Suntouchable! Whoa Glow SPF30 Sunscreen is more than that. Applied at start of day, post-a.m. cleanse, we anticipated putting on a touch of foundation afterwards, as per usual. And were slightly blown away to discover: there was really no need.

We reckon it’s the ‘glow’ factor – the sheer peach shimmer is radiant, but not sweaty-looking – that makes this behave like a BB cream, evening out skintone. (On their website, e.l.f. demo this in a really deep-toned skin, so it clearly works on a great range of skintones.)

Squalane, hyaluronic acid and aloe vera also offer luscious moisturising benefits and a genuine comfort factor – unlike many an SPF we’ve tried over the years, which leave us feeling a bit parched of skin, by teatime.

If there’s one thing we like more than a product which delivers on its promises, it’s one which does even more than it pledges.
