Earthy Nail Polish
Our main feature focus today may be about organic beauty, with the Soil Association Organic Beauty & Wellbeing week coming up – but we’re fairly sure nobody will ever manage to create an organically-certified nail polish, since they just do require some synthetics to ensure they stay put.
TRULY organic beauties, we suspect, will opt to go entirely bare-nailed - but don’t we all long for show-off fingernails, right now…?
In which case, these Earthy polishes should be certainly be top of a wannabe-more-natural beauty’s shopping list. They’re literally as pure as nail polish gets – free of 21 widely-used synthetic ingredients, 79% naturally-derived, using plant-based cassava, corn and sugar cane-derived ingredients. The cap, meanwhile, is created from bamboo (albeit with a plastic liner, to hold the brush). Read more about their sustainability virtues here.
The finish is smooth, glossy and long-lasting, and the colour spectrum’s just fab – Earthly just added a whole rainbow (almost literally) of new shades, including the line-up above. Very pleasingly, they’re very reasonably priced indeed, at £7.99 each.
