Sometimes, you really get to put a product through its paces.
So, Jo returned from a late summer holiday with ridiculously and unpleasantly dry lips, worsened by immediately giving in and turning the heating on. They were tight. Rough (including the skin around the lip-line). Really, really uncomfortable.
Well, this little pot of kuo magic was waiting for her return and was immediately pressed – or rather, smoothed – into service. Result: immediate comfort. Within 24 hours of intermittent application (maybe three or four times), the tightness had completely gone. Within 48 hours? Roughness entirely vanquished. Impressive stuff, not least because you only need a teeny dose. (We followed Annee’s advice, holding a finger to the surface of the balm for a few minutes to soften, before application.)
It's a quite complex and delicately-balanced blend of oils, butters and waxes, as we’d expect from this über-therapist, including oils of camellia, evening primrose, jojoba, avocado, mango seed butter, beeswax and – here’s the star – rosa Damascena wax, which also gives an amazing scent. (You CAN actually smell the rosiness on your lips, at least after first application – and wonderfully pleasing that is, too.)
Not cheap – but you only need a teensy bit, even for quite a mega-effect, and we reckon this will last till spring at least.
