Aromatherapy Associates Forest Bathing Bath & Shower Oil
Aromatherapy Associates very rarely launch a new bath blend – and as we approach the cocooning months, this feels just right.
Forest bathing, of course, is a concept which originated in Japan, focused around the wellbeing benefits of spending time in nature – notably woodland. Few of us, however, get the chance to do that in real life very often, so with this product Aromatherapy Associates are seeking to bottle some of the soothing effects of hanging out with trees.
It's a really wonderful blend, based around the glorious, pine-y cypress, along with petitgrain, Sicilian lemon and pink pepper (the olfactory equivalent of shafts of sunlight in the wooded surroundings), ho wood and earthy patchouli. But there are some floral elements in there, too: a touch of davana and mimosa. And since one of our favourite things about Christmas are all those pine branches, we're loving this.
