Yes to Coconut Oil Cleansing Balm
This is a real 'beauty steal' and a great new find, for us.
Cleansing balms have, for many of us, become the make-up melting cleansers of choice, offering wonderful 'slip' that really enables you to massage your face to get blood and lymph flowing, while loosening the day's dose of dirt and grime.
They're often as much as four times as pricy, though, as this beauty, which does a really ace cleansing job. We were a little nervous when we tried it that Yes to Coconut Oil Cleansing Balm would smell like a Bounty bar, but the fragrance is actually subtle and pleasant.
The revelation, though, is the sponge. Traditionally, balms come with some kind of muslin cloth, but this is incredibly effective and very pleasant to use, as you work it over skin to remove the cleanser. You'll probably need to rinse in warm-to-hot water a couple of times before you finish the whole face and neck, but it feels just lovely: soft and very soothing on the skin. (On which note: it doesn't exfoliate as muslin cloths do, so you may want to use a specific exfoliator once or twice a week for brightness.)
It's 98% natural, Leaping Bunny certified, avoiding silicones, parabens and SLS. Pretty much clean in every way, then – just as your skin will be, after this.
