Beauty Bible Weekend Steal: Mylee Acetone-Free Gel Polish Remover
We were alerted to the brilliance of this nail polish remover by our colleague Hannah Betts. But let’s start by saying: don’t be put off by the fact it’s called a ‘Gel Polish Remover’, because we don’t have gels.
But on normal polish, this is quite the best polish remover we have ever, ever used. It makes toast of shimmering polishes, which are generally a pain to remove, and even works its magic on glitter – very useful for this party-ish time of year. What’s more, it works with just a single firm swipe or two – and you don’t have to drench the cotton pad, either, so it’s ultra-economical.
Mylee Acetone-Free Gel Polish Remover certainly doesn’t reek (there’s a smell, sure, but it’s not overwhelming) – and as the ‘acetone-free’ tag suggests, it’s not harsh.
Don’t know how they’ve done it. But we’re going to be looking at metallic and glittery polishes with a whole new appreciation, this Christmas, knowing that we won’t essentially have to chip them off, to remove.
PS We can’t speak for how well it does work on gels, but would love to hear, if you’re a fan!
