Beauty Bible Weekend Steal: Maybelline Sky Tubes Mascara

If you’ve been looking to try a tubing mascara, at a more accessible price than many on the market, here’s your baby.

Maybelline Sky Tubes Mascara is a little over our usual tenner ‘ceiling’ for a normal Weekend Steal, but still a decent amount less than most. And it works in the same clever way, coating lashes with ‘tubes’ of lash-enhancing product – which then ‘set’, and won’t budge till you use warm-to-hot water, to remove.

Tubing mascaras are great for sensitive eyes, as they tend not to flake – and ideal for swimming, since you won’t end up with panda eyes. They’re fab for hot weather, for the same reason. (If and when it returns! We were spoiled!)

What distinguishes this, however, is also a great, grippy wand, delivering extension-like length, great separation and (as we’ve said) zero smudging – yet slides off with warm water, leaving lashes feeling conditioned. It comes in black only – but that’s no biggie, for us.
