Beauty Bible Weekend Steal: Faith in Nature Mint Body Wash
Long, long before beauty products were ‘green’ or ‘sustainable’ or ‘eco-friendly’ or ‘clean’, there was Faith in Nature. When this brand launched, 50 years ago, it was just ‘natural’. Pure and simply. And that’s as true today as it was when Rivka Rose launched her brand.
Back then, brands like Faith in Nature were found only in health food shops (which hadn’t even been rebranded as ‘natural food stores’, at that point). And there weren’t many of them; we couldn’t exactly say that Faith in Nature was a ‘lone voice in the wilderness’, but brands (never mind shops) offering natural beauty products were thin on the ground.
Rivka Rose, Faith in Nature’s creator, definitely deserves to be celebrated in our ‘Female Beauty Founders Month’, on BeautyBible.com. Her background was actually in psychology and sociology, but she became fascinating by plants and their powers, and first experimented with making herbal ointments and balms. And frankly, the rest is natural beauty history.

We’ve often showcased Faith in Nature picks in this Beauty Bible Weekend Steal section, because not only are they packed with botanicals (while eliminating synthetics); Faith in Nature’s products are astonishingly good value. Beyond that, many are available in mahoosive sizes, to save on packaging (and trips to the shops, of course).
