Beauty Bible Weekend Steal: Argan+ Super Creamy Shower Wash
This week’s choice is a winner from the Beauty Bible Awards 2022 – one of lots of ‘Beauty Steals’ across the Awards, with every one of the more affordable products in each category identified. (In most cases, that means under a tenner, or under £20 for categories like facial oils.) Because honestly, whatever kind of budget you have for beauty, who doesn’t love a bargain…?
ARGAN+ Super Creamy Body Wash is certainly a bargain, at under a fiver – and a product we’ve used and loved ourselves, with a plan now to revisit as our testers’ comments have reminded us of its fab-ness. Non-drying, it contains a blend of five skin-nurturing oils: argan, moringa, kukui, sacha inchi, baobab and shea butter, with a soft, slightly ambrée scent that we’d describe as ‘cashmere’. ‘This is a lovely aromatic body wash which is hydrating, nourishing and calming to the skin. It's great for sensitive or dry skin and for irritable skin conditions. It has a lovely sensual smell although that isn’t long lasting. This is not a 100% natural product, however there are a lot of lovely oils in the product and I would definitely recommend buying it’ • ‘Before trying this product I was using a body wash which has SLS and can make my skin feel itchy. This is less irritating and a lot kinder to my sensitive skin. It lasts ages as only a small amount is needed. It does not make huge amounts of foam, but that is fine and because it's a cream it does not make the shower slippery or dangerous’ • ‘My skin felt more nourished and softer after using it for a week. The product is a luxurious, thick, creamy body wash that smells divine like being on a tropical island. It makes my skin feel nourished and soft after using it’ • ‘My skin felt smooth after showering and I didn’t need body lotion. The fragrance was a lovely, not-too-strong argan fragrance’ • ‘This felt a step up from an ordinary body wash. There was definitely some extra moisture from using it and it could occasionally double up as a shaving foam as it didn't strip my skin too much. I felt it did more than I expected it to.’
