We all love a facial, or a massage but sometimes our body and minds are calling for a treatment that hits a bit deeper, especially if weโre having a challenging time, as Amy, our Associate Editor, was experiencing recently. So an invitation to try a Bespoke Energy Healing session at the ilฤpothercary store on Kensington Church Street, London, came at just the right time, as she explains here.
โI met with Daga, the very lovely head therapist who greeted me with green juice and asked me to fill in quite a detailed multiple choice consultation form. Itโs based upon Chinese Medicine and the Five Elements, and the questions ranged from details on my sleep habits and positions to my digestive health through to my own mind and spirit connection. I explained that I had recently been experiencing some health scares and general stresses and she went through the analysis to work out where I might need some balancing, discovering that my kidneys and sacral chakra needing some attuning.โ
โThen followed the most beautiful and restorative massage Iโve ever had, Daga seemed to intuitively know where her healing hands needed to be. She placed rose quartz over my heart chakra, explaining that she felt I was carrying a heaviness there - which truly resonated with me, as I knew I was still heartbroken after losing my dear Papa a couple of years ago.โ

I could have easily drifted off for a peaceful nap but I was in a different space that I wanted to try and stay aware of, it was like being in a deep meditation and I felt conscious of the energy flowing between us. The whole experience blissful and healing, I left feeling lighter and brighter, like something had shifted in meโ.
