SUN.DAY of London x Ikuko Body Oil Massage Candle
When fragrance and art collide, beautiful things happen - like this limited edition Body Oil Massage candle from the gorgeous home fragrance brand, SUN.DAY of London and London based Japanese artist, Ikuko Iwamoto (winner of the 2019 Young Masters Maylis Grand Ceramics Prize – and we are now BIG fans ourselves).
The collaboration combines SUN.DAY’s founder, Natasha Garbawi’s brilliant nose for scent (this one being a divine blending of rose, Roman chamomile and neroli) and artist, Ikuko’s unique style to create a candle that looks as great as it smells.
Housed in a bespoke porcelain vessel that was inspired by the curves and shapes of the human body, the wax includes a hand-whipped blend of mango butter, coconut butter and jojoba oil to make a nourishing balm that, once melted, can then be applied to skin for the ultimate massage treat. And look at that pot! Equally gorgeous once it’s empty – and could be upcycled as a vase, or for stationery.
