Say 'hello' to Sephora Westfield

We thought we’d wait till things calmed down a little bit at Sephora’s new flagship store, before recommending a visit to you.

When the store first opened its doors, there were queues. Some shelves were almost stripped bare. And it was crowded. But in six weeks, the dust – or maybe the translucent face powder – has settled.

The French beauty chain had previously dipped a toe into the British market, but maybe it was too soon. Today, there are so many more beauty brands for them to showcase – and so many exciting names to show off in the 6000+ sq foot store, alongside a range of beauty services.

You will of course find Sephora’s own signature line (great for brushes and beauty accessories, we’ve always found), but we’re talking 135 brands overall, including MILK Makeup, The Inkey List, KAYALI, ILIA, KOSAS, Tarte, Hair by Sam McKnight – and ALL the mega-names.

We’d still recommend that you maybe avoid weekends, and hang on a little longer till the school holidays are over – advice that applies to most shopping malls, so far as we’re concerned!

But Sephora Westfield is definitely worth a beauty pilgrimage, if you’re coming to London. Just be sure to set aside plenty of time to dip, dab, play and explore, because this is a LOT of square footage!
