Fab Find of the Week: Reia Handcare and Bodycare

We applaud the actions of beauty brands – and there are plenty of them – to embrace sustainability. But Reia, which we recently encountered at 2025’s Chelsea Flower Show, are making it easier than any other we’ve seen.

Reia make truly gorgeous all-natural handcare and bodycare, with a small collection thus far, free from SLS/SLES, parabens and mineral oils. The products smell LOVELY – FEN is lime leaf, amber and vetiver are the key notes listed, with a scent that is designed to be ‘reminscent of the tangled hawthorns and rich flora found in British hedgerows’, we’re told. SILVA, meanwhile, blends juniper, petitgrain and rose geranium, for ‘a restorative experience with lasting warmth and depth.’ For bodies, there is VERDE – green leaves and grasses (we get vetiver), to send ‘your senses into fields dappled with sunlight.’ To us, they’re all just beautifully aromatic and natural-smelling.

The hand and body washes with a ‘forever’ bottle that is green, sleek and chic, above. And here’s the thing we love: a LOT of brands promote the idea of refilling, and of returning packaging after use – but Reia make it super-easy because THEY PRINT THE RETURN LABEL ON THE REFILL. Simply fill your bottle (be sure to smooth your fingers over the packaging to squeeze out every last drop, which is rather a satisfying activity), carefully secure the nozzle cap (we’d do a belt and braces and give the whole thing a wash, too), and pop it in the postbox, postage paid.

Reia have ‘partnered with a specialist recycling facility, who break our pouches down using innovative pyrolysis technology. This process separates the layers of plastic and aluminium, returning them back into virgin-grade materials that can be used again – rather than ending up in landfill or waterways.’ And because they make it such a cinch to return the packaging, over 80% of customers do!
