MALIN+GOETZ most definitely don’t launch new skincare every day – so this is truly newsworthy.

As the name suggests, MALIN+GOETZ Niacinamide Restorative Cream is rich in niacinamide, which is pretty much at the top of our ingredient pops, nowadays: a form of vitamin B3 which is brilliantly barrier-strengthening, anti-inflammatory, hydration-boosting – and at the same time, targets fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots. It’s also soothing, and oil-regulating – in other words (we’ve lost count), a true multiple-whammy ingredient.

The brand has independent clinicals which show proven results in hydrating, firmness and even skintone within as little as 24 hours (across 30 testers).

To see results, though, you’ve got to use a cream regularly and diligently. And you’ll definitely want to, with this. Luscious, cushiony in texture, it’s an instant super-drink for skin, making it feel nourished and plump but not greasy. Sinks in fast, leaves skin looking smooth – and it’s fine and dandy under make-up, given a minute.

It’s unscented, so should be fine for even sensitive skins. A one-and-done cream that we’re thrilled to discover, just in time for our central heating system to be switched to moisture-stripping mode.
