We’re urgently looking for Beauty Bible Awards testers with waves, curls and coils!

We’re right at the very, very end of our Beauty Bible testing for the 2023 Awards, and we need help with one more category.

For many years, we’ve seen first-hand the challenges of friends and colleagues with wavy, curly, coily, frizzy hair, to find the right products to tame and de-frizz, sleek and shine.

We’re delighted to say that the market has responded positively to a need for these – and we’ve had many brands enter the Beauty Bible Awards 2023 with products targeted at waves, curls and coils. So if that’s you – well, we now invite you to be a tester.

We are looking for quite a few testers (each product set will be trialled by 10 women). Some of you will receive a shampoo and conditioner duo, OR a co-wash; some will also receive a styling product or a hair mask. Based on the brands’ own descriptions, we will do our best to match you to the right products.

Click here for the applications page.

There’s no charge for testing – but your commitment is to trial them diligently and fill in the detailed forms. You need to commit to return your forms to us by 3rd March, having used a few times. And yes, we know it’s a tight deadline!

We have products to trial for the following hairtypes – and we know the list doesn’t cover every type of curl and coil, but we are guided by what brands have submitted.

If you know your Curl pattern, great. If you don’t, just tick the box which best describes your hairtype, which we explain below.

TYPE 2A – Fine, barely-there, tousled texture that is easy to straighten (think: Laura Dern or Arizona Muse)

TYPE 2 (WAVY) – Bendable hair, from fine to coarse, that has a definite S pattern but lays quite flat against the head (think: Salma Hayek)

TYPE 2C – thick hair, susceptible to frizz (think: Shakira)

TYPE 3A Loose, buoyant loops (think: Annalynne McCord or Kelly Hoppen)

TYPE 3B – springy ringlets or corkscrews prone to frizz (think: Rihanna in her curliest phase, or Julianna Margulies)

Once again, click here for the application form. We won’t be able to contact unsuccessful applicants individually, but we’ll hope to get back to you by Tuesday 14th February 2023, if you’re successful.
