Wishing you – and the young women at Centrepoint – the most wonderful Christmas

If you’re reading this… we’re putting our feet up till the New Year, enjoying a well-earned lie-down after finishing our new book – and will be back on Monday 5th January 2025.
On Christmas morning, though, we will once again be glowing at the thought of hundreds of young people at the homelessness charity Centrepoint’s residences, across the country. Because we are absolutely DELIGHTED to have helped co-ordinate hundreds and hundreds of gifts, for young men and young women, at the charity’s HQ in Aldgate East, where last Thursday we jam-packed 300 bags with the goodies you can see above. In many cases, these will be the only gifts that these young people will receive. (We were also able to contribute generously to the 300 bags being packed for young men.)
We’ve been doing this for 23 Christmases (gosh!), but we couldn’t do it without the amazing support of the beauty brands who responded to our shout-out for product donations, as well as those who donated via our fellow ‘elves’ (Sharron Lowe, who originally set this initiative up with Jo; Sharon Whiting of Aspects Beauty; Kelly Marks and the team at Pure PR; Kirsty Lewis (who brought her team); Nicola de Burlet and newbie Anna Ellis, as well as Jodie Young, Amy Eason and David Edmunds, of Team Beauty Bible, who’ve been doing this… forever. We had an amazing visit from Centrepoint’s board, while packing (and were only sorry to have missed the Prince of Wales, the charity’s Royal Patron, by a day!)
So… in no particular order and trying really hard not to leave anyone out… we’d like to thank: Elemis, Heathcote & Ivory, This is Silk, Weleda, Aspects Beauty Co., Kenneth Green Associates, Revlon, Olverum, HUDA Beauty, Dr.PAWPAW, SunBum, Mitchum, Jane Scrivner, ISOCLEAN, The Ordinary, Bramley, MUA Make-up Academy…
Time after time, we have been truly blown away by your generosity.
And oh, to be a fly on the wall in Centrepoint’s residences, on Christmas morning. And wherever you’re waking up, we hope you have a magical time.
See you in 2026!
