Fab Find of the Week: Tom Ford Runway Lip Color

New season. New lipstick. That’s the way it always goes for us – sort of the adult equivalent of getting a new pencil case, when we were eight.

And this season, there is an exceptionally lush addition to be made to our make-up bags, with new shades in the perennially fah-bu-lous Tom Ford Runway Lip Color.

There are 18 shades available – 10 existing, eight new. All richly-pigmented (a small selection is below.) They range from a pale pinky buff 14 Sable Smoke through to 18 Unzip (which is the deep grape, seen below) – and of course, perhaps most desirably, 16 Scarlet Rouge, the perfect red seen above on Angelina Jolie’s lips. All surprisingly comfortable on the lips, thanks to a special hydrating complex – without having to compromise on richness of pigment or lasting power . And all 100% glamorous. (You can definitely forget everything Miss Manners told you about not whipping out your lipstick at the table, with this one. Tom Ford Runway Lip Color positively demands it.)

Lush – and luxurious. (And yes, luxe-priced, with it.) But in terms of its feel-good factor, nothing rivals the power of a new lipstick to improve our mood, does it?
