Fab Find of the Week: Floral Street new home fragrance

FLORAL_STREET_MAIN.jpg

Working from home for the foreseeable future...? Us, too. (And very happy so to be.)

Unsurprisingly, in the past year – because we've spent so much time in our homes, sales of candles, diffusers and other home scenting options have boomed. And there might just be another little blip in sales when you hear about these fabulous new options from award-winning, finger-on-the-pulse perfume house Floral Street, who just launched four – yes, FOUR – new home fragrance collections, massively expanding their home fragrance offering.

They have to be smelled for their gorgeousness to be believed – but we'll do our best to conjure up the different lines, here, which are all available as candles and (in some cases) diffusers, too.

White Florals (white glass, should you wish to match your candle to your decor). Four scents sit within this collection: uplifting Grapefruit Bloom (notes of pomegranate and pink grapefruit, wrapped around lily of the valley); Citrus Rose (a crisp, punchy rose with a touch of citrus zest); White Rose (a more classic rose scent, like a bunch of just-snipped blooms); Covent Garden Tuberose, in which that flower is paired with another exotic floral, gardenia, alongside clove, oakmoss and vanilla.

Rose Garden (pale pink, above). Floral Street’s founder Michelle Feeney (who we've known for forever) is obsessed with roses, and for her most recent Big Birthday asked for rose bushes. Here, then, is a gorgeous bunch: Rose Provence (a classic rose, with a touch of patchouli – and unsurprisingly for those who know us, that's our favourite); Lady Emma (dewy rose tinged with apricots and with a florist's shop green leafiness); Wonderland Bloom, which actually captures armfuls of pink peonies, adding a squeeze of Sicilian lemon, fresh guava and cotton candy.

Night Bloom (red, black, purple glass). Definitely 'after-dark' scents, this quartet, with Midnight Tulip (amber, incense, patchouli, saffron and a powdery rose);  Santal (the signature sandalwood note sits alongside guaiac wood, cedarwood and vanilla). Meanwhile, d Floral Street's popular Fireplace candle now sits in this collection, with its dry, woody blend of birch and juniper, sweetened by raspberry.

Urban Bloom (sunny yellow packaging – see below). The three-scent line-up is as follows: Vanilla Bloom (sweet as it sounds, with lots of golden vanilla, amber, rock rose and juicy plum); Sunshine Bloom (sultry, this, with warm musky amber, coconut, jasmine, wild orchid, black pepper and cashmere woods); Spring Bouquet (crisp and green, with on-trend rhubarb, cedarwood and bay).

No office EVER smelled this good, that’s for sure...

From £34 for the candles – buy here
