Fab Find of the Week: Skin Rocks The Cream Cleanser

We are always happy to have our minds changed. (And blown, come to that.) Having never really been devotees of cream cleanser, we have to say that this innovation from our beauty editor colleague (and all-round good woman) Caroline Hirons has completely converted us.

In a hot pink (always love that) flip-top tube, this is a silkily-textured cream that creates the perfect ‘slip’ for massaging into skin (and even the eye area, as it’s opthalmologically-tested). You just want to keep massaging, it feels THAT good.

Skin Rocks The Cream Cleanser is designed to nurture the skin barrier, rather than strip it, via squalene, jojoba seed oil and no less than eight amino acids, and leaves skin feeling absolutely velvety. NB We initially tried emulsifying with a few splashes of water and swishing it away, but TBH that didn’t quite cut the mustard, cleanse-wise, so we’ve reverted to our tried and tested flannels/muslin cloths and the results are SUBLIME.

What we also like is that it comes in two versions: scented (with the crisp, lemony-minty signature Skin Rocks scent, which we love), and unscented – for anyone with touchy skins or who doesn’t want a beauty regime ‘fragrance-clash’.

We’ve long admired Caroline’s no-bullsh*t attitude. And for anyone who wants a no-nonsense but utterly skin-loving, bliss-to-use cleanser, she’s really created exactly that.
