Fab Find of the Week: Dr.PAWPAW x Paddington
We love it when our Fab Find of the Week is also a beauty steal. But the fact is, anything Paddington still makes our soppy hearts beat that bit faster, so this is a collaboration made in heaven.
You already know how much we love Dr.PAWPAW’s many and various balms.
(Frisk any of our pockets and you’re almost certain to find one in there.) Well now, a limited-edition Orange Marmalade flavour has joined the collection, and you know what? It’s our favourite yet.
Lots of different gift-worthy presentations are available. (We hesitate to mention the word ‘stocking filler’ at the beginning of August, but our colleagues are already unboxing Advent calendars, so it’s probably not too early!) Anyway, we don’t know anyone who doesn’t have a soft spot for Paddington, so these are pretty much foolproof gifts for any age, and any occasion. (Provided you put yourself at the top of that list, Team Beauty Bible adds, bossily…)
The set we’re most loving is the Lip Balm Duo, which features the original swivel-up Dr.PAWPAW balm, the Orange Marmalade version AND a cap that goes on a keyring, into which you fit the tube, thus ensuring that you are never knowingly under-balmed. (Unlike actual orange marmalade, of course, this balm is not sticky, but instead is perfectly softening and nourishing, with ingredients including sunflower/castor seed/olive oil, and waxes of candelilla and sunflower.) There’s also a Strawberry Jam/Original Lip Balm Duo, but we’re marmalade all the way, us.
We actually got wind of this Top Secret collab a few months ago and have been waiting eagerly for this moment. It doesn’t disappoint. (But then, Paddington never does.)
