Fab Find of the Week: Body Guard Fragranced Hand Sanitiser

BODY_GUARD.jpg

Welcome to the ‘new normal’. And on the hand sanitiser front, we have kissed almost as many frogs as we have on the mask front. Some are too sticky. Some really are over-drying. Others don’t reach the benchmark for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which is that alcohol-based hand sanitisers must contain more than 68% alcohol in order to be effective against coronaviruses. (Always look for that magic figure, or above). And many of the rest? They just don’t float our boat, fragrance-wise.

Cleverly, this new brand of hand sanitiser has been offered in a range of really lovely scents, with something for everyone, at an alcohol level of 70%.

Body Guard Fragranced Hand Sanitisers have been created at a perfumery in Provence, so you can tell that the focus is on fragrance. They reach that alcohol level, yes – but there’s a choice of four fab scents.

If you like outdoorsy, breezy fragrances, go for Marine. Love rich, tropical florals? Then seek out Moringa Blossom, a mix of divine white flowers that really smells very exotic. If you’re pining for a cancelled summer holiday, there’s something wonderfully beach-y about Coconut. But our fave is a true classic, Citrus – like a fresh, classic eau de Cologne scent – uplifting, fresh, zesty and instantly clean-feeling. And best of all? Super-affordable, at a fiver-ish for a handbag-friendly 100ml.

Thanks, Body Guard. No more kissing frogs for us, then.
