Fab Find of the Week: Beata Love Life Beauty
Fact: some of the most outstanding facials we've ever enjoyed (and there have been many) have been at the hands of the amazing Beata Aleksandrowicz, who probably knows as much about enlivening, firming and 'lifting' faces – without going under the knife – as anyone out there.
So we are very over-excited by the fact that she has – finally – launched an at-home kit whereby we can achieve great results ourselves. At the heart of the kit are Face Massage Cards, sharing four introduction cards and 58 cards with different massage techniques. That might sound overwhelming but they're easy-to-follow and frankly, just trying a few of them at a time will make a difference.
We love Beata's philosophy: 'I wanted to give women detailed and thorough guidance and encourage them to develop a twice weekly routine that will go beyond the face massage, also giving the chance to spend some quality time with themselves, focusing on each woman's beauty and uniqueness rather than dwelling on imperfections.'
She has also created the 'perfect' facial oil for performing the massage, which is also a skin treatment in its own right. Home Coming Facial Oil is a heaven-scented blend of organic jojoba and pure Bulgarian rose otto essential oil. Jojoba is brilliant for facial massage, offers skin-repairing vitamins and Essential Fatty Acids, while also balancing sebum (it's one of those oils that is just fine and dandy on dry and oily complexions). Rose otto reduces inflammation, calms sensitive skin and promotes healthy skin growth.
You can buy them individually but what appeals to us is the synergistic combo of oil and instructions. Facial massage really is THE ANSWER, when it comes to glowing skin – and few of us spend enough time on it. That's partly because we don't know how. But this just nixed THAT excuse, and brilliantly.
