Fab Find of the Week: Body Shop's shimmery summer collection

The Body Shop are SO back in the room, with this shimmery, summery line-up. Seven products. ALL, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, FAB! (Yup. Shouty capitals, there.)

• Aurora Shimmer Body Mist/£16 for 100ml. A light spritz, softly scented with tropical fruits (don’t ask us which ones; it just smells lush and summery… Watermelon…? Papaya…? Passion fruit? Whatever: we like it.) This leaves skin with a delicate sheen – an instant spritz of easy glamour, we’d call it.

• Solar Glow Body Oil/£18 for 100ml. Rich and nourishing, perfect for post-beach skin, this adds a radiance-boosting sheen – again, a tropical scent that’s rather lovely and not in the least overpowering. Despite the nourishment delivered, it’s a dry oil – so sinks in, in a flash.

• Lip Oil – in three shades, £12 each for 15ml. Golden Glow Lip Oil gives lips a polished golden wash and a comfortably cushioned feel, while Crimson Flare Lip Oil is the bolder option, bringing a juicy berry tint and high-shine finish. Or, if you prefer, Clear Halo Lip Oil is the most versatile option — ideal solo or layered over a pencil or a lipstick. Your call.

• Sunlit Bronze Self-Tan Drops/£28 for 30ml. We’ve been adding just a drop or two to our night-time moisturiser for a progressive glow that’s easy to maintain – a can’t-tell-it-from-real look that we’re loving.

• Golden Hour Dry Shimmer Oil/£18 for 100ml. Well, if we had to pick one ‘Desert Island’ product from Glow range, it would be this… All sunlit glow and soft-focus shimmer, it’s lightly vanilla-y scented and veils skin in a good dose of gleam. Great spritzed onto arms, shoulders, shins – honestly, FAH-BU-LOUS all round.

We are reliably informed these are the first in a series of exciting Body Shop launches. We couldn’t be happier to see them back ‘on song’…
