Beauty Bible Gift Guide 2025: Our hand-picked gifts from £25-50

We reckon you might have one or two people on your list who you’re prepared to splurge generously on, this Christmas. (And if not, do look back at our Stocking Fillers – here – and gifts under £25 – here – with SO many great pressie ideas.)

What you can be sure of, though, with the line-up below, is that hand-on-heart we can recommend everything. These are gifts we’d give to those we cherish, and which – Brownie’s Honour – we’d be happy to receive ourselves.

Lisa Eldridge The Holiday Muse and The Holiday Ribbon kits

Lisa Eldridge has the most gorgeously illustrated Christmas gifts this year – we know you really shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, or a gift set by its packaging, but who wouldn’t fall in love with these? Inside are two of the make-up artist’s best-loved products, for creating a perfect lip. There are two shade options: one for the person who likes a soft, neutral lip, showcasing Lisa’s True Velvet Lip Colour in Muse, with the complementary Define Lip Pencil, in the same shade (below). But for that friend who just loves, loves, loves the stop-the-traffic effect of a fabulous red lipstick, there is also a set containing that duo in Velvet Ribbon , probably her most iconic make-up creation yet, for absolute va-va-voom!

INIKA Organic Nourishing Lip Trio

So good to have INIKA firmly back on our radar; this Antipodean natural beauty name (which has a dynamic new UK distributor) is a longstanding fave of ours, with several Beauty Bible Award wins over the years. The botanically-powered lip-slicking goodies in this set are a full-size Lip Mask, which features exfoliating AHAs and bakuchiol, to gently buff and hydrate; silky Lip Crayon in Pink Nude, a suits-all-skintones shade; and Tinted Lip Oil, one of the only truly natural ones that we know of, a dewy tint rich in plant-based collagen and squalane, featured here in gorgeous pinky-brown sheer neutral shade Blossom.

Tropic The Advanced Glow Facial Active Skincare Collection

How often do you get to a spa for a facial…? Hmm, us, too. But this kit from Tropic really is a facial-in-a-box, featuring everything you need for a brightening, reviving, smoothing at-home experience. (OK, so you’ll have to do the massage bit yourself, but there’s no parking to worry about, and you can ‘book in’ exactly when you choose.) The complexion-boosting contents are: Hydrating Cleanser Refreshing Facial Gelée (50ml), Smoothing Cleanser Complexion Purifier (50ml), Juicy Greens Exfoliating Toning Essence (30ml), Fruit Peel Resurfacing Serum and Glow Berry Brightening Serum (each 6ml), Skin Feast Nourishing Moisturiser (20ml), and a Bamboo Face Cloth. A great gift for a friend who needs a bit of a pick-me-up, we think.

Lords Christmas Advent Candle

Last year we featured British home fragrance brand Lords, founded by Sasha Lord, as a Fab Find of the Weekhere – and we’re loving this Christmas offering: a candle which you light each day till it burns down to the next number, for a meditative moment (and contemplation of the festivities to come, too). It’s fragranced with Lords ‘'Abernethy Forest' blend, which is pine-y, foresty, seasonally bang on target, with oils of moss, fir balsam, cedarwood, peppermint, patchouli and amberwood.

MALIN+GOETZ Make It A Double

The duo here swirls with one of MALIN+GOETZ’s bestselling scents, Rum, which is a cocktail of bergamot, plum, anise, rum, leather and vanilla, and a jigger of patchouli, amber and milk, for good measure, tucked inside a too-nice-to-throw-away box. (All of their packaging is very desirable, for 2025. Actually, you could get away with tying a ribbon round this set and just slipping it under the tree, as is.) Cin, cin!

Diptyque Mini Surprise Candle Set

Have you seen Diptyque’s window for Christmas 2025? They’re just divine, with giant golden cats – like the one on the front of this box – rising up out of gold Diptyque-ish vessels, in the most elegant peek-a-boo. Both in store and online you’ll find this set, offering three of their best-loved mini-candles – Baies, Figuier and 34 (named after the address of the original Boulevard Saint Michel store, through which Jo used to stare and drool as a teenager on French exchange). Can’t think of a single living soul who wouldn’t love this as much as we do.
