Beauty Bible Weekend Steal: Sali Hughes skincare newness for Revolution Skin
Well, colour us impressed. Again.
We have been trialling the additions to Sali Hughes’s skincare line for Revolution Beauty, and honestly, these really are a total steal. (The words ‘Why Pay More?’ keep going round in our heads.)
So, thoughts on the three newest products…
Better in 5 Express Exfoliating Face Mask (normally £15, currently £11.25). Just brilliant if you don’t like the feel of a scrub, this blitzes dead cell build-up with a multi-acid blend of lactic, glycolic, gluconolactone (a poly-hydroxy acid, or PHA), as well as moisturising glycerine. Five minutes, flannel off – and hey, presto, glowier skin. (NB This absolutely doesn’t irritate our sensitive skins.)
Ringlight Creamy Illuminating Eye Balm (usually £10, currently £7.50). This feels wonderfully nourishing on tight eyes, yet isn’t so rich that it’ll travel into eyes, and the lightweight light-bouncing particles go a little way to concealing dark shadows. It’s non-greasy and eye make-up applies really smoothly over the top.
Sali Hughes Face Blanket Facial Oil (normal price £15, currently £11.25). Honestly the best deal on a facial oil out there (we find ourselves pretty outraged, frankly, that some brands are charging £200+ for these – there’s really and truly no need, and we’d rather you bought this and sent the difference to Oxfam). The blend of oils here isn’t heavy, but it is nourishing: apricot kernel, safflower seed, olive, strawberry seed, avocado, hemp seed and sweet almond oils, together with squalane. If your normal moisturiser isn’t going far enough right now, you could customise it with a drop or two of this and skin would be very happy indeed, if you don’t want to use it on its own.
Already very affordable, these current deals make this range a proper beauty bargain. If you’re saving for Christmas, you can honestly restock your bathroom shelf with any of this lot – and still pop some pennies in that piggy bank.
