Beauty Bible Weekend Steal: Palmolive Naturals (and recycled packaging)

Our super-affordable pick for this week is yet more evidence that the world is changing in positive ways.

When small beauty brands set out on a sustainability journey, that’s fantastic. (Three cheers!) But when a big brand – someone as huge as Palmolive – does it, then that’s really mega. Small brands make small differences. Big brands make for seismic change.

So: lovers of body washes (as opposed to that most eco of all body cleansing options, good old soap!) will welcome the news that all the formulations in the Palmolive body wash portfolio now contain ingredients of 95% natural origin and biodegradability, while all bottles are made from 100% recycled plastic.

What’s more, the range has massively expanded, now to include Naturals (we are enjoying the Coconut & Milk Shower Cream), Memories of Nature (can we point you in the direction of lavender-powered Sunset Relax?), and Wellness (our favourite is Revive, which also features skin-friendly macadamia alongside uplifting essential oils).

As ever, our advice with any product, though, is: use it up, to the very end, rather than have too many products crowding your bathroom shelf. But you’re then able to put these 100% recycled bottles out for recycling, once again. And that’s really rather cool.
