Yardley English Lavender Cologne Stick

Do products drop off your radar and then return, years later…? That just happened to us, with this perfect-for-the-swampy-weather (re)discovery from Yardley, which they tell us is 90% natural.

It’s part of their English Lavender collection, whose roots, impressively, go back several hundred years – but back then, of course, they couldn’t just swivel up a stick, apply to pulse points and feel instantly cool again.

The scent is much more than lavender, meanwhile, if you’re sometimes a ‘refusenik’ when it comes to that aromatic ingredient. There are also notes of geranium, jasmine, patchouli, chamomile, violet and eucalyptus – and we get undertones of vanilla, so it’s fresh, for sure, but also a little bit sensual.

Just 20ml in size, you could slip Yardley English Lavender Cologne Stick into the teeniest bag. A tiny, fragrant treasure, and one we’re so happy to reacquaint ourselves with.
